Biography

My first encounter with TYPO3 was in 2002, when I was exploring what the future of web development might look like. What began as professional curiosity soon became a lasting passion. In early 2003, I founded my own TYPO3 agency, and TYPO3 has been at the center of my professional life ever since.

I joined the TYPO3 Association in 2004 and have felt closely connected to the TYPO3 community for many years. Beyond my work in the ecosystem, it is the personal connection with many members of the community that makes TYPO3 especially meaningful to me.

From 2011 until early 2026, I served as an elected member of the Business Control Committee (BCC) of the TYPO3 Association. In early 2026, I decided to step down from the BCC and run for a seat on the TYPO3 Board, because I would like to contribute even more actively to the future of TYPO3 and its community.

Over the years, I have been a speaker multiple times at the TYPO3 Conference, TYPO3 Developer Days, and TYPO3camps. Sharing knowledge and supporting others in the community has always been important to me.

One of my personal goals is to make TYPO3 as easy to use as possible for editors, integrators, and website owners. That is why my team and I have published many tutorials and provide the community with a free TYPO3 best-practice template.

Today, our agency has grown to a team of 14 people and offers consulting, development, hosting, support, training, and maintenance around TYPO3. Most of our clients are in the B2B and public sectors, and I am proud that our agency is also an official TYPO3 Technology Partner.
