Biography

I am an open minded Munich kid and an enthusiastic inhabitant of planet Earth, which I prefer to explore on my motorcycle or by train. At home on the Internet and working as an independent developer (freelancer) in the field of web development since 2019, perhaps I can also support you on the way to your own website.

Since 2006 I have been working as a programmer with the web content management system (CMS) TYPO3, which I was able to get to know during an internship in the media informatics course at the Mediadesign FH for Design and Computer Science (MD.H). I was able to develop a wide variety of websites and internet applications for very different clients.

In the course of time, I moved from TYPO3 integrator and frontend developer to backend and extension developer and have fun with the TYPO3 core API and the extension framework Extbase. In the process, I was able to expand my skills in PHP development and everything else that goes with it and was able to continuously gain more knowledge in new technologies and programming methods.

Gradually, server administration and topics such as GitLab servers, automated testing and deployment, continuous integration and Docker became more and more important to me.

And although TYPO3 has always been the core of my work and passion, I have of course also worked with other systems such as Magento, Shopware and Wordpress.

Enthusiastic about the TYPO3 community and its motto “Inspire people to share”, I try to participate in as many TYPO3 events as possible, am a regular guest at the Munich TYPO3 User Group (#t3muc) and have been co-organizer of TYPO3camp Munich (#t3cm) since 2018. Since October 2020 I have been active on the board of the TYPO3 User Group München e.V..
