Biography
Hi, I am Boris, and I am active in the TYPO3 community for more than 20 years now. I think the first sprint I attended was the relaunch of the old typo3.org website. Since then, I’ve been working in various teams like the Editorial Team, Marketing Team and about 10+ years now in the TYPO3 Education Committee.
As the CEO of web-vision, I'm a big believer in giving back to the TYPO3 community and open-source projects in general. Here at web-vision, we're so lucky to have Stefan Bürk on our team. He's a TYPO3 Core Developer and he dedicates 80% of his working time to TYPO3, all on our behalf.
During the past years, I’ve been constantly working in various ways for the TYPO3 project, like:
* Worked on typo3.org Relaunch Sprints and later in the Editorial Team
* Built the first iteration of TYPO3 Merchandising Shop
* Started TYPO3 Agency Meetup Days
* Author of the TCCC learning book
* Education Committee work in general
* CertiFUNcation organization
* TYPO3 Association Board
* Since 05/2023 Vice President of the TYPO3 Association
* Since 07/2023 web-vision employed Stefan Bürk as 80% Core Developer
* Worked on the TYPO3 Association Strategy
* Introduced the TYPO3 Association Consulting Hours with my open calendar each Friday of the year, available in my links.
My fields of responsibility are:
Fundrasing, Stakeholder & Membership Engagement
Recently, I started a petition to have open-source work recognised as volunteering for the common good in Germany: https://www.openpetition.de/petition/statistik/anerkennung-von-open-source-arbeit-als-ehrenamt-in-deutschland#petition-main
